A search plug-in provides the ability to access a search engine from a web browser, without having to go to the engine's page first.

Technically, a search plug-in is a small text file that 'tells' a computer what information to send to a search engine and how the results are to be retrieved.

The open-source Mycroft project provides a collection of search plugins for Mozilla-based web browsers. In this page, you can find the codes for search plugins that you can't find on mycroft website.

How to Install/UninstallEdit

To install the engines, go to the install page. To install it manually, just copy the code to a text editor and save it as filename.src to the searchplugins folder or . Read the MozillaZine Knowledge Base on how to uninstall.

EnginesEdit

All the codes here are already tested and validated using the search plugin validator. If you want to add your own codes, please read the quality guidelines from Mycroft website and Wikia: Terms of use about Wikia content.
