Search Plugins
A search plug-in provides the ability to access a search engine from a web browser, without having to go to the engine's page first.
Technically, a search plug-in is a small text file that 'tells' a computer what information to send to a search engine and how the results are to be retrieved.
The open-source Mycroft project provides a collection of search plugins for Mozilla-based web browsers. In this page, you can find the codes for search plugins that you can't find on mycroft website.
How to Install/Uninstall
Edit
To install the engines, go to the install page. To install it manually, just copy the code to a text editor and save it as filename.src to the searchplugins folder or . Read the MozillaZine Knowledge Base on how to uninstall.
