The Firefox Resource Repository
From Mozilla Community - Bringing Mozilla Together
FFRR no longer exists after the web host went down without a backup.
[edit] What is FFRR
The Firefox Resource Repository (FFRR) is a place where users like you can submit/see Firefox materials as well as recieve friendly support in a simple no-frills website. From jazzy screensavers, to interesting articles, to funny images, FFRR is designed to support Firefox and encourage people to make the switch.
[edit] About FFRR 2.0 Beta
FFRR 2 is the official version 2 of the site. It contains many revisions to the original design, including graphically pleasing interfaces (interchangable skins), integrated forum, and image gallery for dealing with resource submissions on a larger scale. Unlike SFX and many other Mozilla sites, FFRR is NOT translated into non-English languages. It also works near-perfect on Internet Explorer 6+, Netscape not tested. FFRR also sports a relatively simpler interface than most professional Mozilla tools. It is not sponsored nor endorsed by Mozilla though, so in many ways it is a Firefox fan site.
[edit] History
The Firefox Resource Repository was created during the aftermath of the 'IE7, Fox cloning, and the Apocalypse' blog. The buttons that were posted on this blog ended up being used among some people, and the resource was born. FFRR 2 continues on this with an immersive Firefox web-browsing experience.
