Current status: lost house to flood waters from wikipedia:Hurricane Katrina, cleaning up and living in an RV without internet access
edit: I wasn't clear. We had 6 ft of water in the house, 3 ft while we were still in it (I will have a blog post on this as soon as I can have time to write one). We have to tear out the walls and, due to suspections that the walls may have fallen in (structural damage), we will have to have an expert check it. If the structure is damaged, then we will have to get everything out of the attic (the things in the house we already took out) and tear the house down to rebuild, or whatever. Since we don't really want to do this again, if it's easier or cheap enough to just rebuild, we'd rebuild on stilts (or something) to prevent flood waters from messing us up again.
The house is in fact still standing.
p.s. oh noes wikipedia:Hurricane_Rita
October 2006 edit: no it's not we had it bulldozed. lol. Maybe one day I will return to this wiki, ONE DAY.
I didn't like my old user page. Jellochuu and LouCypher were supposed to get the hint that I wanted them to make me a nice one, but apparently that didn't happen.
I have a Bliki, which I don't update now that I have a blog that I edit at home and one at work (which I also post from my digg account and flickr account to). I even have an SFX blog, but I don't really go there anymore except to catch up on the latest silly posts. If you like, you can email me using that little E-mail this user link over on the sidebar. You'll see it if you're logged in.
I reccomend checking out User:LouCypher, User:Jellochuu and especially Search Plugins (Lou is smart, I do hope he puts together info for sites like The Reg and sends it to them so they can host it and their users can use his neatness.) Another nice thing is plushaters, a list of sites that hate plus addressing which I am working on.
If you like websites, I often visit ABS and SA, as well as /. and El Reg.

Hello,
My name is Ken Saunders and I'm currently volunteering for various Mozilla projects, SFx being one of them.
First of all the work that you and Lou Cypher did on the Moz Materials project is awesome. I've been to the Moz Materials section on the Moz Wiki a lot of times over the past year and I've discovered a lot of dead links and and out of date materials on it. Plus there is a lot of new materials out there that should be added.
I'm wondering if you are involved in the project anymore, and if not and if you don't mind, may I take it over to bring it up to date?
I did see that you said that your not really involved in SFx anymore, that's why I'm asking you for this.
I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing from you.
Take care.
Sincerely
Ken Saunders
